SPCI celebrates 101 years!

The SPCI 2011 exhibition and conferences will be extra special since the organisation will celebrate its 101th anniversary in connection with the event.

"SPCI has served our industry providing technical and social platforms for one hundred years and SPCI 2008 will therefore enhance its status as a meeting point for the international pulp & paper industry," says Marina Asp, Executive Director of SPCI.

International conferences will be held during three intensive days while a large number suppliers to the pulp & paper industry exhibit their products and services in the 13,000 m2 exhibition space. The previous exhibition, SPCI 2005, welcomed 944 exhibitors from 31 countries. The number of visitors reached 14,190 from 63 countries, including large contingents from Russia and China. These figures make the SPCI exhibition the largest international event of its kind anywhere in the world.

Visitors to the SPCI trade fair represent a broad spectrum within the industry. The range stretches from leading decision-makers such as board members, CEOs, purchasing and mill managers to specialists engaged in virtually every aspect of the industry, including managers responsible for maintenance, production, environment, sales & marketing, transport & logistics as well as operators, project leaders, PR staff, consultants and planners.

SPCI 2011 promises to carry on this tradition by maintaining the highest standards among visitors and exhibitors.
