DESCRIPTION:
The seventh edition of International Pulp Week will be hosted for the first time in the city of Chicago, Illinois (USA) from May 9-12, 2010 at The Drake hotel.
Located on The Magnificent Mile, The Drake is at the heart of Chicago and close to both the leading restaurants and business district. The negotiated rate for the block of rooms is $255 per night (plus taxes).
Producers’ registrations subsidize the attendance of market pulp end-users who, since International Pulp Week’s conception, have been able to participate all events at no charge. Once registered, producers are encouraged to invite their customers to join them for a drink at the opening cocktail reception, as well as attend events throughout the week, as outlined in the program.
The Pulp and Paper Products Council (PPPC) organises this event as a service to the industry, allowing for a multitude of business meetings and networking opportunities that would otherwise require travel to several continents. It is the industry’s continued support that has allowed this conference to flourish, and in particular that of the market pulp producers. In recognition of those companies offering their strong support, International Pulp Week will be introducing a sponsorship program.
